UOIT EcoCAR Looks Forward to the Winter Workshop 

On January 6th representatives from all 16 EcoCAR teams will head to Daytona, Florida to attend the second annual EcoCAR Winter Workshop.

Teams will meet with sponsors, attend educational sessions and have the opportunity to share what they have accomplished since the September workshop held in Boston. The UOIT team couldn’t be more excited to reconnect with the other participating schools and share our experiences. Though UOIT is the only team designing a Full Function Electric Vehicle architecture, it is always inspiring to hear how the other teams are faring with both their technical and outreach efforts. (Not just because this is a competition!)

One of the things we are most looking forward to is the chance to show off our new website. On day two of the workshop, we are expected to do a live review of the site in front of a panel of judges. A lot of hard work and consideration has been put into our website over the past year, so we are excited to show the organizers what we’ve accomplished.
