Outreach

At UOIT we look for innovative ways to promote ideas and research we are passionate about. The UOIT EcoCAR team is constantly updating our social networking platforms and participating in community events with the aim of promoting our successes in the EcoCAR competition. Our Outreach team is focused on educating the general public and K-12 students about the importance of sustainable automotive architectures and the benefits of electric vehicle design. 

In this section of the website, you can learn about some of the past events we have participated in, as well as any future events that we have planned. You can also browse the GM and U.S. Department of Energy youth education sites, accessible through the "Outreach" menu tab. These sites offer material and lesson plans useful in promoting environmental sustainability, with a focus on transportation. We encourage you to check them out!
